As winter wraps its icy grip around us, the Wet Dog Tile studio is channeling warmer days with our latest projects. This week, we’re diving into ocean-inspired mosaic murals featuring hand-glazed nautical tiles like whales, turtles, crabs, starfish, mermaids, and so much more! These handmade creations are a vibrant reminder of summer’s sunshine and sea breezes, keeping the spirit of the season alive… even when it’s freezing outside! This sprawling kitchen backsplash mural features a custom glazed lighthouse as well as some fan favorites such as seagulls, shorebirds, heron, and more!Here’s a look at our new Whale profiles coming soon to the Ocean Dog Collection! These whales are being used in a backsplash mural with handmade otters trailing behind it in a sea of blue and green circular glass.Take a look at this mural vs its’ concept drawing. Our artists create scaled concept drawings for custom borders and murals such as this and can match even the finest detail!
