Today’s Photo Of The Day was taken here at the shop.
It’s actually a combination of two photos that we put together to show how glaze reacts once it’s fired! On the left you can see the ceramic pieces have glaze on them – they almost look like chalky, pastel colors. On the right are the pieces after coming out of the kiln. Our kiln fires these pieces to over 2,000 degrees! It’s crazy how some colors change so drastically once being fired, isn’t it?
