Every dog on Earth is a good dog, but there really can only be one best good dog, can’t there? Meet Spitfire, the best good dog in the world, athletically speaking, that is.

Spitfire, otherwise known as Spitty, is a now 7-year-old Whippet world record holder of multiple records, including a 31-foot long jump. ESPN has titled him the “Michael Jordan of dogs”. If you aren’t already impressed then sit back and let the video speak for itself!
This video provided by ESPN features Sydney (now 17 years old), Spitty’s owner and trainer, along with Spitty and the story behind their bond and Spitfire’s strange obsession with going airborne!
Perhaps the most impressive part is knowing that Spitfire, being a dog, might not even know that he’s competing – he’s just doing something that he loves to do.
