This is a set of our Shore Birds from the Ocean Dog Tile Collection. Perched with quiet, watchful stillness, these handcrafted glazed stoneware tiles capture the simple charm of the sandpipers and gulls that dot the tide line at daybreak.
The glaze misfired in the kiln on this set, leaving each of the two tiles with its own slight variation in finish.
While these tiles didn’t quite meet our rigorous standards, they are still a unique, one-of-a-kind pair looking for a loving home!
