In last week’s blog post we went behind the scenes of one of the new installation photos. The blog post was very popular so we decided we’d do a similar post this week!

This close up is of a new kitchen backsplash mural we recently did! It features pieces from the Ocean Dog Collection, such as our 12″ lobster, 6″ mermaid, turtles, starfish, shells, and more! It also features a few fish from the Lake Dog Collection!
Below is the concept drawing our artists created for this mural…
Between concept and creation there may be some changes along the way. You may see “gravel green” textures called out in the concept drawing that didn’t end up in the final piece, though the finished backsplash still looks very similar to the concept drawing, don’t you think?
